Fun Things To Do In London This Summer – Rooftop Cinema

Summer has finally arrived and although London always is a vibrant city, London during summer is just magical! There are so many things to do here and sometimes is almost difficult to decide what to as there are just so much going on. We are going to compile a list of some super fun things that you can do this summer, just to make it a little easier for you to decide 😊

If you are movie buff, please continue reading!

Last week we visited one of London’s coolest places to watch your favourite film – The London Rooftop Cinema Club.

For those of you who haven’t heard of The Rooftop Cinema Club, it’s a company who have set up several open air cinemas around the capital, combining great views with great movies.

“Great films deserve great locations, and our venues are set alongside some of the most iconic city backdrop’s around the world. With panoramic views and stunning sunsets, movies have never looked so great.”

The locations are easily accessible and this time, we visited the Rooftop East which is located just across Westfield shopping center in Stratford. As you arrive you enter a rooftop bar where you can order your favourite drink and get some food prior to watching the film (and you are allowed to bring that through and enjoy it whilst you get engrossed in the movie).

They have really put in a lot of effort in making sure that you can enjoy the unusual cinema environment with lots of cute cinema props and the seats are made out of colourful deck chairs (which are surprisingly comfortable). As the sun goes down, the temperature obviously drops but these guys have thought of everything, providing all cinema goers with warm blankets.

All in all its a great experience, perfect for groups of friends, couples or first dates! If you fancy coming with us as we went to watch Moulin Rouge, click on the link below 💖
